NATO troops casualty rate in Afghanistan is by shminux 2006-11-19 12:55:59
close to that of the Soviets some 20-25 years ago, if calculated in proportion to the force deployed, worse than in Iraq. Also, apparently Canadian troops are much more likely to be a casualty than British or US, according to CBC radio. Just shows yet again that no-one can control Afghanistan (not even Afghanis themselves).
