no.. I haven't moved to Des Moines.. I went for a morning run, when I got back I needed a glass of water, everyone else needed me to take a shower. Unfortunately we have no cold running water, and the only water we have it's what little we have left in the hot water tanks. (which isn't the nicest stuff to drink, and has to be boiled thoroughly in case of legionares disease etc., the tanks are at the perfect temperature to breed lots of lovely bugs) Apparently there's a burst water main somewhere which has led to a complete loss of pressure in the local area (possibly intentional to stop _all_ of the water leaking out) the water company says 'Unfortunately we do not have an estimated time of repair'. ho Hum...
