monitoring them. Usually the stuff gets taped and only gets reviewed when needed. This change in the UK is actually employing people to watch them real time 24/7 it seems. That would make the cost prohibitive in this country... Spend $$$ for peeping policemen ( and belive me it will be police unions that would be cajoling for a easy work (overtime) on this sytem arguing that they are the only ones qualified for such work) or spend $$$ on education, or see property taxes rise to pay for this system? I can't see it happening in this country, particularly New England.
