The Pope makes comments about spreading faith by the sword and through violence and how that's not the way to spread a religion. Then, Muslims in Gaza (just to pick one illustrative example) shoot up and set fire to an Anglican and Greek Orthodox catholic church and threaten more violence, unless a personal apology from the Pope is forthcoming. There's truth and irony in there somewhere, on several levels, that I just don't have the brain power left at this point in my day to fully delve into.
