They really seemingly don't give a s4 about the physical media: it's your CD keys that matter, to the degree where your account is tied to your CD keys (which can be a good thing, if you're prone to losing them, as you can reclaim them from their website). Their general philosophy is that one installed copy = one set of keys = one account, and in that idea of install base identities, tying a module to a key set makes sense: "Here's your copy, keyed specifically to you." You don't have any trouble if you use your keys, which are specifically for you, and not someone else's. |
