Pikmin and/or Pikmin 2. They're not Mario games, but they are absolutely adorable, and my wife and I very much enjoyed playing through them. You can't play them "co-op" directly, but they're easily suited to playing a few minutes each, as each "day" in the game takes only a set, short amount of time to pass.
Probably the most original strategy games I've seen on consoles, and a good challenge without being frustrating or unfair. Both should be cheap now ($15-$20) and are well worth at least renting, if not purchasing. :-) |
