...when I started posting. I was trying to moderate the thread somewhat. I don't want the Americans to go into "I'm an American and to h4 with anyone who disagrees"-defensive mode. I don't want non-Americans into "let's stick it to the Yanks"-mode either.

My reply wasn't directed at you personally, but more of a "let's stop this subthread here, please, this isn't what I was asking for". I'm really looking for answers, not politics or propaganda, and if you first get riled up at Sjefen.no or whoever, guess what I'll get?

I'd like you to contribute, but not in a pro-anti-flamefest, emotions tend to soar and at the end all I'll be able to do is to keep scores: "This one's pro guns, and that one's against them", and I'm not really interested in that. I already know pretty much where the divisions on the board lie on that matter.
