You realize that you are comparing apples to oranges? The United States has less than 800 accidental firearms deaths per year. Pretty amazing with more than 250 Million guns floating around if you ask me. A lot better ratio than automobiles for certian.

If what you say about the U.S. having 250 Million guns is correct I see that as a problem. You see the U.S. Population is 295,734,134 persons. That means more than 45,734,134 people are unarmed (Most guns owners own more than one gun). Assuming these people are all legally allowed to posess guns, how do we get them armed?
