I did just see an add in the paper for a Taurus PT-745 Compact .45 ACP double action for only $289. I found out that great as the 1911 is, I really do want something a bit smaller for concealed carry. I'll have to start rooting around again. At this point I don't want to spend too much more money, I don't have my next job lined up yet. A smaller gun isn't necessary, but it is something I would buy if I could find a good deal on.

Is there a site that you would recommend for gun reviews, similar to Tom's Hardware for comps?
