| In the US, local election boards run the elections. Those boards are made up from the elected officials of the area. So, if you have a heavy democratic area (Cook County, IL.), your election board will be mostly democrats. If you have a heavy republican area (Lucas County, IA) your election board will be mostly republican. So when people complain about how the elections are run in an area, it is not the responsibility anyone except those in that area. Complaining on a national level does not good. All the choices are made at a local level. |
