Nethack: wished for an Archon figurine. by Michiel2006-09-14 10:25:42
Did you check whether it was really blessed? by Tars_Tarkas2006-09-14 11:06:05
What's the strangest Nethack pet that you've had? by nix2006-09-14 11:14:52
      Had a killerbee once. by Tars_Tarkas 2006-11-19 12:55:59
Which was great fun, since it could take on gnomes and dwarves no problem and I was going down the Mines anyway. The Minetown guards killed it in the end, but great pet.

However, the gnomish Healer I ascended got a whole set of strange pets. First was the Archon (not that strange I admit, and eaten by a trapper, got that confused, but it was a swallowed whole death), at one point I had a Leocrotta (found a figurine, blessed it, applied it).

In the early-to-midgame I had 3 cats and 3 dogs (almost all large). And no magic whistle. And yes, going up/down levels was just a tiny bit complicated.

Then got a grey dragon, which was pretty cool, until it got turend into a nymph and got killed. Then came a silver dragon, who turned into an Ettin, whom I left behind when I got the Archon.

However, the most awesome and coolest and probably strangest of them all were Famine and Pestilence, with whom I ascended.

Read all about it here.
