valid in your state without a lawyers signature on them.

If they are then all you need to do is have it notarized to make sure it doesen't hit probate court. Probate court SUCKS!! Notaries are MUCH cheaper than a lawyers :) The key here is if no one contests it then probate courts do not get involved in *most* cases. If for some reason the probate courts do get involved, no matter what your parents think your wishes are...they will not be able to do anything until the courts are finished...and you know how fast the U.S. courts are....
