Or likely to have been so, anyway. She was inspired to take up the violin after watching two very talented young musicians play the double concerto on TV, and after she learned the piece, she stopped taking violin lessons. Coincidence? Probably, since that was when she realized she wanted to be a doctor and would need to spend more time on schoolwork (this was when she was in middle school).

I remember putting on a recording of the concerto and my sister and me would whistle the two violin parts. That was fun. :P
