They protested, they whined, they called sponsors. There is no denying that, in fact that is the way the market works. But not once was there even a hint of a threat towards CBS from members of Congress (Of which Republicans were in majorty at the time) if the show aired. Whether or not this show airs now Senator Reid and company have just given the Republicans some heavy ammunition to use against them during the campaign season. I dare say it may be even more damaging for them if it doesn't.
