| Throw it back and move the goalposts. Of course there are islamic groups that want to impose islamic fundamentalism all over the world. That's the whole point of theocracy. But was that what we were discussing? If so you need to be much clearer in your posting.
See, I thought you (and Limbaugh) were refering to a small group in the USA which was supposedly leading larger numbers of people on a road towards islamic domination of the United States. That's what my Leninist doctrine comment was about, but I'm not surprised you misunderstood it. But "Leninist doctrine was tried here in the United States?" Linky please.
Well, I'm happy if that's not what you meant. Because if we're talking small islamic groups, they're never going to be able to threaten the USA or western democracy in general, unless we let them. They're using terrorist tactics exactly because that's all they're capable of. And at the moment some people are doing their best to help them by keeping large parts of the population terrified and distracted. Go read this, please: "Wait, Aren't You Scared?"
Oh, and one last point, about your analogy. I wasn't interpreting it, I was dismissing it. There's a difference. What I'm very sure of is that you see the analogy in a different way than I do. Something about differing worldviews. |
