Good we came out of Nam pretty beat up but we learned a few things then we Forgot what we already knew. which is where we are now.
Relearning things that should have been obvious.

The Military memory is only 1 generation long. None (very very very few anyway) of the current military command had served in a gurilla warfare campaigne Infact afaik the last 'Nam vet retired some 10-15 years ago.
