the trick is to be far enough away to have plausible denyability. Or far enough away to RUN cause a 5 gallon tank going boom is going to be audiable for close to a mile. and its going to make a BIG hole in the ground. 1 gallon makes a hole a foot deep and about 8 feet in diameter with scortch marks going several feet further.
