| completely anti-military. Somehow, I don't think most of you don't get the hint that soldiers are real people such as yourselves, whom willingly signed up to serve four years or longer. Never mind how most of you view the bureaucracy. Never mind the fact that the liberal media likes to blow things way out of proportion and report on all the deaths, AWOLs, etc, that occur overseas and not on the other things that go on; such as how the troops are trying hard to establish a good rapport with the civilians. Instead of going about bashing them, why don't you give them the support they need?
And those whom have gone AWOL and/or deserted, I hate to say it but that happens those who can only think of themselves and their families, and not their fellow troops. You sign the dotted line, you take that oath to defend the United States and its Constitution, you take that oath to defend freedom, you have to live by it. Yes, not everyone is cut out to be in the military. It could be worse. In some nations, it's mandatory you enlist for at least two years.
Some of you just don't get the hint of the price paid for freedom, do you?
