You do not have final say over where they send you. You may want to kill some towelheads, but instead be stationed somewhere else. War and combat are nasty, ugly, dirty, and it messes with your head. This I know already (and have known for a long time) though I have never fired a gun in my life. When you sign up, you are a tool of the government, and your power of "decision" comes through your vote, just like anyone else's. If you got drafted, you have a much stronger argument.
