when did nostalgia get so expensive by tesla_koil2006-09-08 06:38:50
When the teens from "then" have well-paid jobs ? by SciSSorS 2006-09-08 06:57:02
It looks logical, economy-wise, following the rules of the market:
back then, in the days you can NOW be nostalgic about
(is that the wrong preafterposition? )
you found enough money to even "contemplate" buying a 3k-priced anything.

Of course, THEN you couldn't imagine getting that money together.

<br/>Too bad for you, that *many* of these teens (or student twens) from "then" are now in that same position. The teens-from-today don't long for 1970's technology, but they wouldn't be able to drive up the price either.
In about 20 years, year-2000 stuff will have become more expensive too, unless they now learn NOT to shell out ridiculous sums for technology that ... can be re-built, in software, smell included.

Well, visuals have advanced a lot, audibles have as well,
but let's hope that smell doesn't "hit the fan" too soon.
With all bad taste in movieworld, I don't want to be inside then.
Hey what happened ? I could 've sworn that I read that the "break" tag had gotten a backslash in it. But not within ARS ... or do I remember something that "would have happened if" ?
