The Path to 9/11 by VivianC 2006-11-19 12:55:59
Funny how it hasn't been mentioned here before.

Democrats are up in arms over a TV show to be aired this weekend on ABC. The show is called "The Path to 9/11" and is is billed as a "dramatization, not a documentary, drawn from a variety of sources, including the 9/11 commission report, other published materials and personal interviews."

Democrats have demanded the mini-series not be shown in its current form and have gone so far as to make threats against ABC's broadcast license over the issue. They take issue with three scenes that portray actual events. Two of the events credit the wrong person in the administration with the action and one comes directly from Clinton's book.

The administration was clearly distracted by the Lewinsky scandal, as Clinton himself states. In another scene, Madaline Albright is said to give information to Pakistan when, in fact, it was the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Finally, there is a scene where Sandy Berger calls off a raid to capture Bin Laden when it was actually called off by CIA Director George Tenant.

So what is up with the sudden censorship from the Democrats? Can anyone name any other movie that they have protested so loudly?
