take off all non rustproof armour and drop every item in your inventory on the floor except the potions that you want to change and jump into the pool of water. Provided that there are no nasties such as eels in there you should survive and crawl out of the water. If you then do an inventory you will see some potions are diliuted. Repeat and rinse until all potions are water. :o)
