However, in practice (actually taking a deck of cards) you probably won't get your 50%. It's like the coin tossing machine that was built. You'd think heads/tails would be a 50/50 chance. Not so - the trend over time (# of throws) does however tend towards the 50/50 - using a coin that is not biased of course.
