There are systemic problems within the company at the moment. Hence the service desk which is entirely new.

The centre I work in is closing down in three weeks so all new staff have had to be hired as almost nobody here was willing to move cities. The transition was handled extremely poorly (as in fast and un-planned) and the company has lost three major client contracts to date.

But the systemic problems I refer to is the service desk manager who keeps removing staff from teams when the team begins to perform so they can prop up teams which aren't.
