And you should look for pity only if you feel that those old enough to no longer be a slave to their sex drive are to be pitied. They have exchanged passion for experience, but not lost in the bargain. BTW in this sense 'passion' seems to be synonymous with sexual desire. I don't know if this is correct or not - but I don't know of a better word. What is far more valuable than passion is knowing one's self. If you know yourself - your goals, your limitations - nobody can tell you what you should do. Force you into certain choices, maybe, but you will always be in control. And that is something to be envied, not pitied.
