Then do the conversions in my head:
1. If it's in radians, first convert to degrees.
2. If you need to compute cosine, swap 30 with 60.
3. If you need to compute tangent, just compute both sine and cosine then divide.
4. If it's in a different quadrant, switch to first quadrant and make a note of any sign-change.
5. If it's sec/csc/cot, take the necessary reciprocal.
You can fairly easily do all that fast enough to convince your teacher that you've memorized everything. |
