The goods owed is a custom-designed "coin belt" (think the kind belly-dancers wear)for my SCAdian garb. As far as contract...I don't believe it counts as a contract, but I've the email trail starting with request for quote, notification/paypal & bank record of monies sent, and then quite a few requests for updates on my part and many "I'll have it done soon" emails on her part. As it's going on 3 months with no belt, more than a month with no email contact from the gal making the belt (I know she's got `net access...she updates her LiveJournal almost daily), and I've no formally written agreement...*shrug* Live and learn, I suppose. Just wish I hadn't paid her in full & up front.
