..."Consumer Watch" news media outlet.

"Hello. Yes. My name is $Name & I was told to bring in my son, who has Leuk. to determine if is able to qualify for disability. I'm here at their building, my son's in a wheelchair, and there's no way to get him into the building! What in $Deity's Name is the Department of Disability doing having a building disabled people can't get into?!"

I'm sure they'd have a camera crew out in front within a few minutes, and SHAME the Department into getting a clue.

Nothing generates change like an agry mob at the front gates demanding someone's head on a pike... <8-J

My deepest goes to this woman and her son.
My Uncle, a US Army Veteran, lost the use of both legs, his left arm, and most of the muscle control in his body.
The Dept. Veteran Affairs wanted him to come in to "prove" he was disabled, and the building they told him to go to didn't have a working wheelchair ramp.
One call to the local "Channel $x On Your Side" & they were doing an interview with him 30min later, in front of the building, berating the official who started the whole mess.
Uncle got approved two days later, after about 100 other Vets showed up to protest. *snort*
