when he watched movies at the apartment, he would consistently fall asleep within the first hour of the movie... I guess the couch was too comfortable... he would normally stay awake through an entire movie by the 3rd or 4th attempt... though if it was a slow moving plot he would make 5 or more attempts at watching it (typically starting around 11pm) before finally giving up and asking me how it finishes... if it sounded like a good finish, he would make one more attempt at watching the whole movie. at that point, I would be happy to tell him how it ended, because I would be wanting to watch a different movie.
