I've only been playing a week and a half so far by austinkp 2006-08-08 16:24:13
so my first (and so far, only) character was a human, but you do get to choose which profession from among 8-10. Then you also have a secondary profession as well. There's something like 54 possible combinations to choose from.

I'm playing Factions; I don't know which version you're looking at. Mesmer is like a mage (Fire, Earth, Water, and Ice Spells, IIRC), Elementals I'd have to look up. Right now, I'm confusing them in my brain with ritualists, which are Factions-only.
