Leukaemia not a disability?? by fitzso2006-11-19 12:55:59
  I haven't read it all by Ishta 2006-08-08 15:36:32
But in some ways it isn't. My cousin had leukemia. One remission was 5 years. They worked through most of it and had a rather understanding government job. They did die after they came out of the 5 year remission. It can constitute temporary disability or perminant. It depends on the stage of the disease and incapacity of it. That also applies to other cancers. I know someone who is a Cancer Councellor and they are on disability but not for their own Hogkins which they survived. They are on it for severe arthritis and needing hip replacements.
