that if the parents refused to have the child get the shots because of allergy or religious reasons, they wouldn't allow the shots even if the tests were positive, right? So why kill the critters. Wait a month. if they die, they were infected. Since if they die, the kid will die too because of either fate or stupidity (allergy or religious non-treatment), why kill the meerkats ahead of time?
