The brain must be sectioned and examined for damage from infection. Now, I do place human life above animal life, but I do not place human comfort above animal life. I don't particularly care whether or not the parents want their child to avoid suffering the "painful shots" (and, admittedly, they are painful, even in the arm). That is a matter of comfort, not safety. Who is this child, that her ease and comfort are worth the lives of ten innocents?
