but still, I feel that the movies don't do the books very much justice.
The movies, especially The Bourne Supremacy, have very little to do with the books.
For instance, (and this may be a spoiler for some... so consider yourself warned), Marie is killed in the movie, but in the books she is actually a pivot point. She is a very important character in the Bourne Supremacy novel, but more of a byline in the movie.

The Bourne Identity movie (with Matt Damon) is quite nicely done, I must say, but with the second they really started the movie the wrong way. It felt a bit disjointed with the first. But apparently (from the DVD-commentary) they had to change a few things around, because of a certain terroristic attack...
