the shots for no other reason than to make them think twice before doing something so clearly wrong. If it had been me at that age, my dad would have made SURE that I was given the shots and that I appologized to the Zoo.
At 9 years old the kid knew better and the parents should have been keeping a decent eye on her. I mean really, I went all over the Fort worth Zoo with my GF, her three kids, my sister and my Neice and had NO problems like that. The kids were 9, 7,6 and 5. Even the 5 year old thought some of them were cute but knew better than to try to pet them. Where the HECK were the parents when this happened?!?! Come on! show some responsibility here and keep an eye on your kid!
Things like this just make it more obvious that todays society thinks that it has to be someone elses fault and that children/people should not be held accountable for their actions....Grrrrrr |
