One quote from the article that really hits it out of the park: Huckabee, who is considering a presidential bid in 2008, said Congress and the administration -- run by fellow Republicans -- have moved far from what he called the "traditional states' rights position" of conservatives.

And another I heard that also nails down things: Though Republicans are in charge, we're not beating the crap out of the enemy in Iraq; we're not enforcing our own law on the border; and we're spending like idiots.
