I really did. Three years ago I presumed to take the bait, had 10 - 15 phone calls from Nigeria to my cellphone (all extending to more than 40 minutes) plus several faxes, send all the info to the cops and the Nigerian embassy. The reaction was to be expected: there is nothing we can do. The embassy also noted that when I made a transaction with them, I'd better never go to an African country, because I could be sentenced for life under Nigerian law. Stupid world... But it was fun to drive THEM at costs. And to declare to them what information I figured out and sent to the cops (I eventually had all the address information they needed).
