The Jungle Books were great stories, until the Disney people dumbed them down for the unwashed masses.

If you have only been exposed to the Disneyized silliness and not read the books, you're missing out on 99% of the story, as well as most of the good lessons and thought-provoking stuff.

Then there's the old joke, one that Hadji would preobably like if he hasn't heard it already.

Said the Young and Silly Suitor to the Sweet Young Thing: "Do you like Kipling?"

And Her reply: "I beg your pardon! How DARE you! I have never Kipled in my life!"
