He sat behind me the first three times I fixed his system - the first two times he took NOTES even.
I slowly, thoroughly explained to him everything I was doing, each & every step along the way.
I told him what I was doing, why I was doing it, & how he could do it, too, if he wanted to get more comfortable with his computer.
By the 3rd time though, he wasn't takin notes any longer & was saying things like "This old dog isn't up to learning THAT complex of a new trick."
In retrospect, I think I should have slapped the "old dog" with a rolled up "newspaper" (100spindle of CD-RW's) & told him "BAD Doggy, no toy for you!"
