Especially adding Nietzsche and (sic!) Comte to that list. And Darwin and Mill in ``Honorable mention"...
And it may be my personal view, but I think that Marx's publications were much needed in 19'th century Europe. What the communists have done had nothing to do with what Marx wrote. And while his books could have (although indirectly) cause some harm, I don't get how this could be said about Kinsey or the philosophers mentioned above.

Putting those given books aside (and the choice is, IMHO, as bad as can be), I don't consider any book really ``harmful". It's what people make of it that's good or bad, and should people use their brains, then no book could possibly cause harm.
