The internal CD-RW/DVD combo drive on my laptop had stopped working before the summer, so I had gone out and bought that spiffy external DVD-RAM/LightScribe burner. I disable the unfunctioning drive in Windows so it doesn't show up in My Computer. Now today I'm just copying a CD in Nero, and I put the original CD into the external drive. I hit 'Copy,' and it pops out the tray for the internal drive and asks me to put the original in there! It seems like my internal drive suddenly works again... (Though when it asked me to insert the blank CD-R to burn to, it opened up the (default) external drive.)
