I've hit "Random Article" on German Wikipedia and up came "User Friendly". I was a bit surprised by the length of the article and came to the link to the German translation page which did not get updated since January 2003. It's the same page which is linked here, so it's obviously the only German translation page.
After all, I think one translation a day can't be that much work (if it's allowed to be two weeks behind if things come hard), and then I wonder if I could do it, but then I ask myself where to update them since I don't have (and don't want to have) a website. And then I thought through the technical means.
Why don't we just set up a wiki somewhere and let people maintain the translation by themselves, for all languages they want, linking each day together (to allow jumping languages for the particular comic), and add the Text Transcriptions of English original and the translations together to make it searchable? Of course the wiki wouldn't have Illiad's originals, but a clicky to it. Well... just a thought.
