According to the ESA (who organizes E3) the vendors are complaining about "having" to provide big flashy booths, having to have their tech demo's and in game footage ready in time and such for public dispersal etc. etc. etc. Basically they're saying it costs too much, and they would like to break E3 down into a couple of smaller more targeted events (probably behind closed doors as well). Now for this years edition, there was also a bit of a ruckus about the "female booth agents" in that they should be less prominent and less naked. So downsizing + less raunch = double D --> B cup. ;-)
