I totally agree. Some schools in my area have recently banned games like tag and dodgeball because "someone might get hurt." When I was in elementary, I broke my arm, received countless scratches and scrapes, and once fell face-first from the top of a jungle gym, all during recess. Recess was some of the best memories I have of school. Our kids will certainly not think that it is OK to do bad. If we have no choice but to send them to a school that doesn't fail kids or other bulls4 like that, then we will do whatever it takes to find out how they are really doing and deal with it ourselves.
