DVR Question by tonza2006-07-26 11:58:57
  Yes. by staticsan 2006-07-26 18:39:42
It really depends on your market, though.

In Australia, we are undergoing a transition to Digital TV so set-top boxes are a visible item at the moment. PVRs are thus marketted as a type of set-top box. But DVD recorders are over in the VCR section, because there are no models on the market (in AU) with digital tuners. It gets worse. DVD recorders with HDDs in them are *also* over in the VCR section because (again) they don't have digital tuners. And that is also where you will find PVRs with analogue tuners.

Oh, and you will probably need to go to a mid-market store, like a store that would have projectors on display.
