Advice on a Digital Camera by pi in binary2006-11-19 12:55:59
Haven't used Panasonic, but it looks decent by shminux 2006-07-26 17:19:36
10x zoom, high sensitivity and optical image stabilizer are all good features, but 5M pixel seems on the low side. As far as I know, Panasonics are decent quality, unlike, say, Toshibas, which are best to avoid. No movie mode on this one - not sure if you need it (I use it a lot). I'm pretty happy with my tiny Pentax Optio - it does everything I need and fits nicely into the pocket. And whichever camera you end up buying, you'll likely want to carry a spare battery (should be about $30).

Have fun!
