| Yet another potential job down the tubes. They hired someone who is willing to work for about $10K less and without benefits. I really dislike people like that, as they bring the market down for the rest of us. Another HR person told my agent "No, she's not suitable." Agent asked why. HR person said, "Maybe you should come and see our offices." Agent went down and was conducted on a tour. The only thing she can think of is that everyone there was late 30s and younger. Of course, the HR person couldn't actually say "We think she's too old" as I could then sue them, but that's the impression the agent got. That sucks big time. |
