But were tougher than normal ones becase it was in the webbing of the thumb. The dr finally pulled the rest out - some still had a flash of pain and a bubble of blood when he pulled them out. I only remember the first one though. Then I remember the smelling salts - after he did the rest and wiped it down to get the blood off.
