...apparently a sizable percentage of the dual citizens hadn't been in Canada for many years, and had not paid taxes in Canada for that long. But they immediately held up their Canadian passport when things started to go sour, demanding help 'returning' to Canada. Maybe citizenship should expire if you don't reside in the country once every 10 adult years or something. KS
