Johnston Myer, London Drugs, WestCo, Sharpe, and tried Canadian Direct(but didn't get a quote from Canadian Direct in the end). I don't smoke or drink. I have no prior claims. I am quite close to emergency services, hydrants, and have my own extinguisher and alarm. I am connected on one wall in a very old building. The area near mine has problems with grow ops and meth labs.(So much so the city has a bilaw forcing landlords to check properties regularly and pay for cleanup costs)

Insurance in the US is very different. I have been told by american family that coverage includes homes, vehicle road insurance, and may even include health all blended into one plan. Things like that do not exist here. They are all under seperate plans and deals.
